If after reading you do still have an unanswered questions, please feel free to get in touch.

I don’t like my photo being taken, will you make me pose?

You are not alone, 90% of couples I meet have the same worry. It is my aim to make you feel completely comfortable and at ease on your wedding day – after all the best photographs will be of you enjoying yourself, not forcing a cheesy smile! I much prefer capturing your day through candid style photographs, although I do make time for traditional group shots but promise to keep these short and sweet.

How far do you travel?

I live in the heart of the New Forest and have been lucky enough to photograph all over Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and Manchester. I love to travel and would be pleased to accompany you if you are getting married somewhere further afield. Travelling expenses up to 60 miles to your wedding venue are included, so when getting in touch please specify your chosen venue.

How soon should I book you?

I would recommend getting in touch at least 10 months before your wedding date, especially if you are getting married during May – September. Don’t let this put you off if you are fab at organising and are planning your wedding in 6 months of less, please drop me a line to enquire if your date is still available.

Can our friends take pictures at our wedding?

Of course! Your wedding is such an exciting day for all who are involved, and almost everyone will be armed with a phone or camera. I welcome guests to take photographs throughout the day as it provides lots of opportunities for different coverage. However, it is only a problem if guests step in the way or use lots of flash throughout important shots such as procession down the aisle and your first kiss. I also ask that during group photographs I am given time to take the photograph first and then your guests are free to step forward to take a quick photograph if they would like – to avoid wondering eyes and distractions!

How many photographs will we receive?

I believe in creating a story so generally will not stop taking photographs, aside from during the wedding breakfast (I’m yet to find one person who frames a photograph of them eating!). The quantity of photographs taken will depend on a range of factors, for example, how many guests there are, the number of locations, the time allocated to ‘couple shots’ so unfortunately it is very difficult to estimate the number you will receive.

Do you edit our wedding photographs?

I believe it is important that your wedding photographs reflect how you look, and keep airbrushing and photo-shopping to a minimum. However, I take time to ensure that small tweaks are made if requested to give you the best possible photographs.

When will we be able to see our wedding photographs?

Please allow up to 4 weeks during busier times for your wedding photographs to be perfected. Once your photographs are ready I will be in touch to arrange to hand-deliver them to you on USB in a gorgeous personalised wooden box. I will also bring along your photographs to be viewed on an iPad so we can have a post-wedding catch up whilst re-living those special moments.

Do you supply wedding albums?

I am pleased to supply a range of wedding albums which have been hand picked to suit a range of budgets. A variety of sizes and covers are available. I also bring along sample albums to show you when meeting before your wedding. Before going to print, I will design each page using your favourite chosen images, you will then receive an electronic copy of the layouts to confirm/amend. I want your wedding album to be treasured forever so like to take the time to make sure each page is just right.

Are you insured?

Yes! I am covered by public liability and indemnity insurance.
