Goodbye 2024.

How on earth did we get here? Another year, and yet again, it feels like time has flown by in the blink of an eye. We’re almost at the end of 2024, and I’m sitting here with the biggest box of biscuits, going through all of your galleries with a mix of awe, gratitude, and, if I’m honest, just a little bit of disbelief.

Every year, I find myself scrolling through hundreds (maybe thousands) of images, narrowing them down to share my favourite moments with you all. It’s a bit like trying to pick your favourite chocolate from a box when every single one is a winner, but I’ve finally managed to narrow them down to share a snapshot of 2024.

If there’s one thing that’s obvious, it’s that this year's weddings have been packed with personality, joy, and so much love. Every couple I’ve had the honour of photographing has made their wedding day theirs—from the most unique venues to the smallest, most personal details. There were DIY touches that made me smile, spontaneous dance-offs, and so many incredible families who welcomed me like one of their own.

And, let’s not forget the weather. If 2024 was the year of one thing, it was the year we got every kind of weather. The year started off with rain, of course, but not just any rain—this was the kind of rain that had us running outside in fits of giggles and managed to give us those epic rainy shots. The sunshine soon followed and we had some super sunny afternoons resulting in Garden Games, welcome drinks outside and the most magic Golden Hours.

Every year, I’m reminded of just how lucky I am to be doing what I love. And while I know it’s a cliché, it’s still 100% true: you, my amazing couples, are the reason I get to do this for a living. Your trust and support mean the world to me, and honestly, every wedding still feels like a pinch-me moment. I get to wake up, jump in the car, and go capture another couple’s story. There is honestly no better feeling.

2024 marked my fourteenth year as a wedding photographer, and I can truly say I’ve never felt more grateful for the opportunity to be part of your journeys. From all the big moments to the little, quiet ones, it’s such an honour to be the one to capture those memories for you.

2025 is shaping up to be my busiest year yet, and honestly, I can't wait to dive in!

But before I do, I'm taking a moment to soak in these memories.

To the couples who let me be a part of their day this year - thank you.

Your trust in me is what makes this job so incredible rewarding.

From all of the happy tears and the belly laughs, to the unexpected moments that makes every wedding so unique - I'm forever grateful for all of it.

And to everyone who made it to the end of this post, I promise we’re almost there. Happy New Year, everyone—here’s to more love, laughter, and happily-ever-afters in 2025!
